Who Is Eligible To Register For The NFL Concussion Settlement??

Retired NFL football players including those who played for:

  • NFL National Football League

  • AFL American Football League

  • World League of American Football

  • NFL Europe League

  • NFL Europa League

Representatives of deceaed or legally incapacitated retired players may participate, as can derivitive claimants including spouses, parents or dependent children of qualified retired players.

Current players are excluded from registration and participation in the class action suit.

How Large A Settlement Might I Get From The NFL?

Without specidfic details about your situation, it's impossible to say. Not all former players will be entitled to the same compensation. Monetary damages are different, depending on specific qualifying diagnoses, including ALS, Parkinson's Disease, Neurocognitive Impairment and death from CTE Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.

Is There A Deadline? How Important Is It Really?

It is critically important. The NFL Concussion Settlement is effective as of January 7, 2017 and registration for it opened on February 6, 2017. Under the settlement terms, the NFL will be required to pay damages for valid claims over the next 65 years. However, if you do not register by the deadline, August 7, 2017, you may be forever barred from seeking benefits from the settlement.
