MEET THE AUTHOR/READERS WHO WILL READ AT NOIR AT A BAR OXFORD OCTOBER 19, 2023

Our authors are all local. Some are established writers having published multiple books. Others are presenting their first public work. Some work at it full time and for others, it's their passionate hobby.

Chris Bauer

Chris Bauer wouldn’t trade his Philly upbringing of street sports, fistfights, brick and stone row houses, and twelve years of well-intentioned Catholic school discipline for a Philadelphia minute (think New York minute but more fickle and less forgiving).

He still does most of his own stunts, and he's a member of International Thriller Writers. He likes the pie more than the turkey.

Jay "Knuckles" Kennedy

Jay is a reader, not a writer, but Gary has naked pictures of his cats so occasionally he can be coerced into embarrassing himself at Noir events.  Like this one.

Jay serves on the board of the Library.

Zenker_Gary.jpg

Gary Zenker

By day, Gary uncovers the mysteries of marketing for his clients and, according to one client, "kicks ass."

By night, he writes flash fiction and publishes books on a variety of topics, including two co-written with his then pre-teen son Seth and a volume on using leadership skills to create successful Meetup groups.

Gary is the creator and facilitator of the Main Line Writers Group and founder of the Wilmington/Chadds Ford Writers Group, as well as Noir at a Bar.
